Scholarship Opportunities and Info

Interested in applying for scholarships? Here is a list of SF State scholarship resources available to assist you (this list will be updated frequently):
  • SF State Office of Student Financial Aid Scholarship website:
There are over 700 campus and outside scholarships listed on its "5 ways to search" scholarship database. The "Quick Search" and the "Campus Scholarship lists" are good resources as well.
  • One Stop Center, in the Student Services Building, has a Scholarship bulletin board with up-to-date scholarship postings and scholarship fliers.
  • There is also a Scholarship 101 workshop, every semester. Click here for additional info about this opportunity.
  • The Academic Honors and Fellowships Office provides advising for students who are interested in applying for nationally competitive and CSU-system-wide scholarships and fellowships. Successful applicants will generally have a GPA of 3.7 or above. Check the Fellowships Office website for contact information and scholarship/fellowship lists.
Note that the Fellowships Office is sponsoring five information workshops this Spring: on the Fulbright, on graduate fellowships to fund master's and doctoral level work, and on undergraduate scholarship and fellowship opportunities. Click the "Workshops" link on the Fellowships website for more information.
